BRICKS & MORTAR BOUTIQUES
If you've an actual boutique, gallery or shop, there are SO many effective and inexpensive ways you can get your business and your brand out there! From engaging with other local businesses and the community with regular posts to Twitter to getting your business and your products featured in your local magazine. Regional editors are always on the look out for interesting and engaging content for their pages. They love it even more if the copy and the images are delivered to them on a plate!

Examples of recent Tweets (above and below).
Both Liz at The Gate Boutique and Debbie & Sue at One Hundred High Street say that customers often visit their shop having been inspired by a post on Twitter. The post of the leopard print booties caused a significant spike in sales, confirming a lot more people see the posts than the analytics suggest!

The distinct advantage of shopping at an independent boutique is the quality of the customer service available. Many women seem to appreciate a little one-to-one assistance in finding items that suit their complexions, physiques and lifestyles.
One Hundred High Street in Teddington frequently advise their customers on how to pull together a bespoke capsule collection too and communicate this service in their newsletters with visuals similar to those shown below.
